Ryan Gillen is the Manager of The Leahy Center for Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity and an Adjunct Professor in Computer Networking & Cybersecurity at Champlain College. He previously served as Project Manager for Cyber Range at Champlain, leading student teams in designing cyber-attack simulations for the U.S. Secret Service, and worked as a Security Engineer for Vermont organizations.
His research focuses on:
- AI applications in cybersecurity
- Adversary simulation and Red Team operations
- Automation of security processes
- Digital forensics methodologies
At the Leahy Center, he oversees research initiatives and grants while emphasizing experiential learning. He is dedicated to student professional development, preparing graduates for cybersecurity careers through industry-relevant projects.
