Dr. Korie Little is a University Distinguished Scholar and Professor of Sociology at The Ohio State University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She specializes in race, religion, and leadership dynamics in multiracial congregations and the Black Church. Her work bridges sociology, religious studies, and leadership theory.
Education:

Research Focus: Dr. Little investigates racial integration in religious institutions, leadership strategies in diverse congregations, and civic/political mobilization by Black religious leaders. Her award-winning scholarship includes Smart Suits, Tattered Boots (2021) and Estranged Pioneers (2022), which Christianity Today highlighted as influential in evangelical thought.

Grants & Projects: Directed/co-directed over $1.8M in research grants, including the nationally representative Religious Leadership and Diversity Project (RLDP). This study examines race, leadership, and multiracial congregations across the U.S.
