Konstantinos Georgiadis is a Professor at the Department of Sports Organization & Management, Faculty of Human Movement Sciences and Quality of Life, University of Peloponnese. His academic work focuses on the cultural and ethical dimensions of Olympism, sports governance, and sustainability in sports. He holds a PhD in Sports Science (1999) and a Diplom Sportlehrer (1987) from Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz.

Georgiadis has edited numerous publications on Olympic studies, emphasizing ethics, sustainability, and governance. His research explores the educational value of Olympism and its application in modern contexts.
Notable honors include Emeritus Professor status at the Capital Institute of Physical Education in Beijing (2006) and Honorary Dean of the International Olympic Academy. He has also served on the IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Education (2005–2010) and as a member of the IOC Consultative Commission for the 1st Youth Olympic Summer Games in Singapore.
He is actively engaged in international collaborations through the Erasmus+ Programme, contributing to intercultural exchange and globalized sports education frameworks.
