Dr. Kirsten Walsh is a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Exeter's Department of Social and Political Sciences, Philosophy and Anthropology (SPSPA). She holds a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Otago (2015) and previously served as Assistant Professor in Philosophy at the University of Nottingham (2016-2018). Her research bridges early modern science with contemporary philosophical analysis through the lenses of Integrated History and Philosophy of Science (iHPS) and Philosophy of Science in Practice (PSP), focusing particularly on Isaac Newton and the early Royal Society.
