Dr. Kinfe Yilma is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Law, University of Leeds (since 2024). He previously served as Associate Professor of Law and Technology at the University of Addis Ababa and Teaching Fellow at the University of Melbourne Law School. His expertise spans law and technology, with a focus on privacy/data protection law, AI governance, platform governance, and cybersecurity law. He holds advanced degrees including a PhD from the University of Melbourne and has authored multiple monographs, including 'Privacy and the Role of International Law in the Digital Age' (Oxford UP, 2023).
