Kim van Erp is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with the Organization Sciences department and the Network Institute. He holds a PhD in Behavioral and Social Sciences (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, 2011) and a Master's in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences (Eindhoven University of Technology, 2003). His research focuses on conflict management, employee wellbeing, organizational behavior, and healthcare management, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and good health.
Key projects include 'Wellbeing in Crisis' (2023-2027) and 'ONZICHTBAAR MAAR ONMISBAAR' (2023-2025), exploring organizational challenges in healthcare and workplace dynamics. He teaches courses like 'Institutes, Identity, and Image' and 'Behavior and Communication in Organizations'.
His publications address topics like nursing home organizational learning, healthcare workforce visibility, and conflict resolution strategies. He actively participates in mediation conferences and contributes to professional journals on workplace conflict analysis.
