Dr. Kim Hofstra is the Dean of The School of Education & Human Services and an Assistant Professor of Education at Cornerstone University. She holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and Development from Cornerstone (2021), an M.Ed. in Early Childhood from Grand Valley State University (1998), and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Calvin College (1990). Her research focuses on teacher self-efficacy, diffusion of innovation, and school leadership. She received the 2022 Faculty Excellence Award from Cornerstone University. Previously, she taught for 26 years in preschool and elementary settings, served as a teacher supervisor, and now leads academic initiatives emphasizing Christian worldview in education.
