Kiarash Behrouzfar

Kiarash Behrouzfar is a Research Fellow in Medicine at Monash University, associated with Monash Health. He completed his PhD in Cancer Genetics at the University of Western Australia (2019–2023), focusing on transcriptomic analysis of asbestos-induced mesothelioma using the CC-MexTAg mouse model. His work led to the development of a mesothelioma-specific gene signature for survival prediction and immunotherapy response assessment. Currently, he works in Dr. Pual Yeh’s Blood Cancer Biomarkers Laboratory, contributing to research on genetic biomarkers and immunotherapy.
