Khrista McCarden is the Hoffman Fuller Associate Professor of Law at Tulane University's Murphy Institute Center for Law and the Economy. She joined Tulane's law faculty in 2018 after serving at Pepperdine School of Law, bringing expertise in tax law and policy with an emphasis on international taxation and charitable giving.

Her research bridges legal frameworks for cross-border charitable giving and tax policy innovations in social entrepreneurship. McCarden has presented her work internationally, including at the International Fiscal Association's Annual Congress and AALS conferences. She serves as a Contributing Editor for the Nonprofit Law Professors Blog and was recognized by the MacArthur Foundation for her scholarship.
