Olga Khazova is an Associate Professor of Private International Law at the Law Faculty of Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka) and previously held the same rank at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (2018–2022). She is a leading legal scholar in family law, child rights, and international legal frameworks. Affiliated with the Private Law Research Centre (Family and Inheritance Law Department), she advises international organizations like the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (2013–2021, Vice-Chair 2017–2018) and the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH).
