Kevin Schulman is a Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and Professor of Operations, Information and Technology (by courtesy) at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. He serves as Associate Chair of Business Development and Strategy in the Department of Medicine and Director of Industry Partnerships and Education for the Clinical Excellence Research Center. His research focuses on organizational innovation in healthcare, health policy, and health economics, with over 500 publications in premier journals like the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA.
Research interests include healthcare system innovation, economic evaluations of clinical interventions, and policy implications of healthcare delivery. His work bridges clinical practice and business strategy, emphasizing value-based care and industry partnerships.
Awards and honors include recognition for lifetime contributions to health services research and leadership in academic medicine. He directs Stanford's Master of Science in Clinical Informatics Management program and advises on national health policy committees.
