Kevin Ryan is a Full Professor of Molecular Cell Biology at the Institute of Cancer Sciences, University of Glasgow, and Senior Group Leader/Head of Tumor Cell Death Laboratory at the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute. He focuses on apoptosis, autophagy, p53, and cancer metabolism.

His research explores tumor suppressive mechanisms, cell death regulation, and cancer metabolism. He has authored 121 publications with an H-index of 54 and over 20,000 citations.
