Kevin Hunt

Dr. Kevin Hunt is a Senior Lecturer in Culture & Context at Nottingham School of Art & Design (NSA&D) and Director of Doctoral Programmes (DDP). He oversees doctoral applications, interdisciplinary research across NTU, and collaborates with the NTU Doctoral School. His academic background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (distinction) and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Kevin’s research focuses on sensory studies, cultural philosophy, and Michel Serres’ topology, exploring intersensory experiences in film, fashion, and textiles. He leads projects funded by the British Academy (e.g., 'Learning Aesthetics from People who are Visually Impaired') and NTU’s Institute for Knowledge Exchange Practice (IKEP), collaborating with organizations like My Sight Nottinghamshire and Nottingham Contemporary.
