Kevin Cheng is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Law's Centre for Sustainability and Responsible Management. He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Hong Kong (2003) and has held academic roles across the UK and Hong Kong, including at King’s College London and Lingnan University. His research focuses on personality psychology, organizational climate, leadership, and the impact of urban environments on well-being. Recent work explores how environmental factors influence personality development.

Research interests include the interplay between urban design and mental health, pandemic-era work dynamics, and rating biases in organizational settings. He serves as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Psychology and has contributed to media discussions on cultural clashes and pandemic narratives.
Notable publications examine the effects of urban environments on personality, semantic network analysis of work ontology during lockdowns, and neuroticism's role in creative work evaluations. He has advised on sustainability initiatives like the Wandsworth Council Partnership workshop (2022).
