Prof. Kevin Cheng is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (Research) at the Faculty of Law, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He holds a PhD in Criminology from the University of Hong Kong, and has earned the CUHK Research Excellence Award 2015-16.

- Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Criminology and Political Science from the University of Toronto
His research focuses on Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Socio-legal Studies, emphasizing empirical analysis of Hong Kong's legal system. Recent work compares sentencing guidelines internationally and explores procedural justice legitimacy.
