Ketty Andersson

Ketty Andersson is an Associate Professor and University Lecturer at Lund University's Faculty of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Speech Therapy, Phoniatrics and Audiology. She holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine (2015) and has been a licensed speech therapist since 2002. Her research focuses on multilingualism, language development in children, and clinical interventions for language disorders. She leads the SATS project on Swedish language development support and has contributed to 31 research outputs since 2012.

Teaching roles include Program Director of Speech Therapy Education (2016–2018) and Chair of the Program Committee for Rehabilitation Education (2019–2024). She teaches multilingualism, language disorders, and pedagogical leadership. She is an MHFA instructor supporting medical faculty students.

Current projects include developing standardized interventions for children with language disorders. Awards include the 2021 ETP Excellent Teaching Practitioner and 2017 Champion of the Year. She collaborates with national and international researchers in speech and language studies.
