Charlotte Mostaert is a Researcher and Lecturer at Thomas More University College Antwerp, affiliated with the Department of Speech Therapy and Audiology. She is part of the Man and Welfare research group and contributes to the expertise cell Language and Learning. Her work focuses on language development disorders and multilingualism, with a particular emphasis on diagnostic protocols for multilingual children and parent-reported language development assessments. She co-developed the ALDeQ-NL questionnaire and authored a diagnostic protocol for multilingual children aged 4-6.
As a lecturer, she teaches in the postgraduate Multilingualism program and the Speech Therapy and Audiology curriculum, specifically the 'Language: diagnostics' course. She also serves as the communication manager for her program, overseeing external scientific communication.
