Her research examines how legal systems address atrocities, with a focus on hybrid tribunals (e.g., the Jurisdiccion Especial para la Paz in Colombia) and the intersection of legal doctrine and social expectations. Current work includes analyzing terror trials in Scandinavia and France, and institutional evolution in post-conflict contexts.
Recent publications explore sovereign immunity in Africa, ontological challenges to legal systems, and conflict resource governance. Though no specific awards are listed, she secured a 6-million-DKK grant to study presumption of innocence in terror cases.
