Dr Kerry Purcell is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Buckingham, affiliated with the School of Law within the Faculty of Computing, Law and Psychology. She joined the institution in 2017 and serves as module coordinator for Law of Contract, while teaching Law of Torts, Company Law, and Medical Law. Additionally, she delivers Medical Law and Ethics to the School of Medicine. Dr. Purcell actively supervises PhD candidates and participates in the University’s fitness-to-practice medicine panels.
Her professional memberships include the Institute of Medical Ethics, Society of Legal Scholars, and she holds a Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy. She is an elected member of the University Senate, the principal academic authority responsible for overseeing academic courses, research, and teaching activities.
