Dr Rebecca Limb is a Lecturer in Law at Southampton Law School, specializing in Child Medical Law, Biomedical Law and Ethics, and Children’s Participation. Her research bridges medicine and law, focusing on children's meaningful engagement in healthcare decisions and legal barriers to their autonomy.
She employs Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis and Lived Experience methodology to amplify under-represented voices in policy and clinical practice. Current projects include interdisciplinary collaborations with the University of Warwick on data trusts for children's data rights in birth cohort studies.
