Kerry Edwards is a Professor and Subject Director for Occupational Therapy at the School of Science, Technology and Health, York St John University. She transitioned to full-time academia in 2006 after 17 years of clinical practice in musculoskeletal healthcare, specializing in hand/arm injury rehabilitation. Her teaching spans undergraduate and MSc Occupational Therapy programs, with a focus on physical health and social care.
Dr. Edwards holds an MSc in Allied Health (Hand Therapy) from the University of Derby (2005) and is pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Education at York St John University. She is certified by the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the Higher Education Academy.
