Dr. Keren Darmon is a Lecturer in Media & Communications at the University of Greenwich. She holds a PhD in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics (2017), where her feminist media studies thesis examined gender dynamics in professional communication fields. Her research analyzes women's experiences in PR, marketing, and advertising through anti-racist and feminist frameworks.
Prior to academia, Darmon accumulated 12+ years in UK government communications, specializing in media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement. She has taught at LSE, Wake Forest University, and Goldsmiths before joining Greenwich in 2019.
Her current work investigates women-only professional networks as spaces for career advancement and resistance to industry inequities.
