Dr Guoxiang Song is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics. Prior to joining the university in June 2010, he served as a Teaching Associate in Finance at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

- PhD in Finance from University of Cambridge
Dr Song’s research focuses on statistical methods, bank mergers, financial crisis analysis, and financial reforms. He has delivered talks in London on these topics to Chinese delegations, including the National Bureau of Statistics of China, Beijing Finance Bureau, China Construction Bank, and China Huarong Asset Management Corporation.
Before his academic career, he accumulated 12 years of professional experience in the finance sector at China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company and China Galaxy Securities Company. His contributions extend to teaching responsibilities in Finance, Banking, and Financial Services at the University of Greenwich.
