Kendhyl Delacour

Kendhyl Delacour is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with expertise in forensic psychology and mental health counseling. She is also a practicing therapist at a Bronx-based non-profit organization, working with children and adults, and has previously served as a mental health extern at Rikers Island.

Her research focuses on online child sexual abuse and societal beliefs about online sex offenders. At John Jay, she teaches PSY 242: Disorders and Distress. Prior to her career in New York, she worked as a behavioral health coordinator for youth in O'ahu and as a case manager for adults with severe mental illness and legal encumbrances.
