James S. Wulach is a Professor of Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from CUNY City College, a JD from University of Michigan Law School, and a BA from Johns Hopkins University. He has served as Director of multiple academic programs including the MA in Forensic Mental Health Counseling and dual MA-JD programs with New York Law School and CUNY Law School. His professional leadership roles include past presidencies of the New Jersey Psychological Association, New Jersey Academy of Psychologists, and Society of Psychologists in Private Practice (SPPP).
His research focuses on intersections of psychology and law, including forensic practice standards, legal ethics, and mental health professional regulations.
