Dr. Kelly Benn is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at Queen's University (Faculty of Arts and Science). She has maintained a private clinical practice since 2001, specializing in rehabilitation psychology, focusing on physical/head injury assessment, treatment, and legal consultation for both defense and plaintiff cases. She holds certifications as a CSME-CAPDA Certified Catastrophic Disability Assessor and Medical Legal Assessor, and has advanced training in trauma therapies (EMDR, CPT) and Vocational Assessment. Her professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association, Ontario Psychological Association, and numerous specialty organizations.
Her research interests span clinical psychology, rehabilitation psychology, and social/behavioral aspects of psychological practice. She operates Benn Psychological Services and serves as an expert witness in legal proceedings. Dr. Benn has held leadership roles in organizations such as the London Regional Psychological Association (former President) and the Brain Injury Association of London and Region (former Board Member).
