Keith R. McCrae, MD is a Professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He serves as Director of Classical Hematology at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute and Director of Physician-Scientist Development at the Lerner Research Institute. His roles also include membership in the Developmental Therapeutics Program of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Research Focus: Vascular biology in health/disease, antiphospholipid syndrome, high molecular weight kininogen's role in angiogenesis, and microparticle-mediated disease mechanisms. Current projects include:
- Antiphospholipid syndrome pathogenesis via beta2-GPI/TLR4 signaling
- Kininogen-deficient mice models for thrombosis/cancer therapy
- Microparticle biomarkers and intercellular genetic communication
Industry Collaborations: Consults for Principia and Sanofi Genzyme. Engages in translational research with emphasis on clinical applications.
Labs/Teams: Leads the McCrae Laboratory focused on vascular biology and thrombosis, with cross-disciplinary collaborations in immunotherapy and immuno-oncology.
