Dr. Keith Bremer is an Associate Professor of Geosciences and Geography at Fort Hays State University (FHSU), and serves as Director of the Graduate School & Office of Research. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Geography (2011), M.A. in Land/Area Development (2007), and B.S. in Geography (2004), all from Texas State University. His research focuses on urban sustainability, cultural landscapes, and interdisciplinary urban studies.
His work bridges urban planning, environmental perception, and socio-economic analysis. Recent publications explore urban literature’s role in cultural memory, climate impacts on public health, and hydrological modeling in urban design. He teaches courses in scientific writing, research design, and urban geography.
Professional affiliations include the American Association of Geographers (AAG), Congress for the New Urbanism, and graduate enrollment councils. His administrative roles reflect expertise in graduate education and research administration.
