Katy Mooney

Katy Mooney is an Instructor and Course Coordinator for Psychiatric Nursing and Professional Nursing at the University of South Carolina Aiken. She holds an MSN from Liberty University (2013), a BSN (2003), and an ADN (2002) from USC Aiken. Her career spans roles in inpatient behavioral health, hospice, neonatal intensive care, and home health nursing, with a focus on improving care for diverse populations. She contributed to Telephone Triage for Obstetrics & Gynecology (2018), addressing communication challenges in clinical settings.
