Katrina Dunn is an Associate Professor in the Department of English, Theatre, Film & Media at the University of Manitoba. Her work bridges academic research and professional theatre practice, focusing on spatial dynamics, ecocritical approaches, and Canadian theatre traditions.

Research Interests examine intersections between theatrical space and real estate, ecocritical performance, and theatre-fiction relationships. Her 2020 dissertation on Vancouver’s Downtown urban development through theatrical lenses is being expanded into a monograph.
Recent Publications reflect her expertise in pandemic-era digital theatre, spectral storytelling, and aging studies, with contributions to key edited collections and journals. These works emphasize interdisciplinary methodologies and climate crisis engagement.
