Kaja Dunn is an Associate Professor specializing in anti-racist and culturally competent practice, with a focus on theatrical intimacy and diversity consulting. She serves as associate faculty at Theatrical Intimacy Education and is a member of SAG-AFTRA, contributing to over 40 productions across 5 countries.
Her notable intimacy work includes collaborations on American Prophet, Choir Boy, and Strange Loop, alongside co-authoring a chapter in the Arden Research Companion to Shakespeare and Contemporary Performance. She has presented extensively on equity, diversity, and decolonization in theater, including engagements with the University of London Goldsmiths and the Association of Theatre in Higher Education.
Her accolades include the Kennedy Center’s National Medallion, and she contributes to journals on race, intimacy, and theater education. Kaja actively advises and consults for institutions like Actors’ Equity Association and Children’s Theatre Charlotte.
