Ricky Pak is an Assistant Professor of Acting at Syracuse University’s Department of Drama. His academic roles include adjunct faculty positions at the University of Redlands (2017–2019), Cypress College (2015–2016), and California State University-Los Angeles (2011–2015), where he taught acting, theatre, and acting for camera. He is a professional actor and member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), with extensive stage and screen credits.

Pak’s research focuses on devised theatre and Moment Work methodologies through his collaboration with the Tectonic Theater Project. He advocates for cultural diversity in performance, co-founding the Circle Squared Collective to create inclusive theatre. His work includes directing the Encuentro 2014 Latinx theatre festival via a Mellon Foundation Fellowship and consulting for Disney/ABC’s diversity initiatives.
