Katie Rask

Katie Rask is an Associate Professor in the Department of Classics at The Ohio State University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Center for the Study of Religion. She holds a Ph.D. in History of Art from Ohio State. Her research focuses on Greek and Etruscan archaeology, religion in the Greek and Italian worlds, and animal sacrifice/votive practices. She maintains offices in Columbus (455 Hagerty Hall) and Marion (114 Morrill Hall).

Key research themes include material devotion in ancient Greek religion, phenomenological approaches to votive practices, and cross-cultural ritual analysis.
