Katie Bell is a Lecturer in the Department of Visual and Studio Arts at Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has been exhibited at prominent venues such as Spencer Brownstone Gallery (New York City), Kavi Gupta Gallery (Chicago), and deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum (Lincoln, MA), and has been featured in publications like BOMB Magazine, Hyperallergic, and Art in America.
- Education: BA from Knox College, MFA from Rhode Island School of Design
Her research and artistic practice focus on ecological making, using sculpture and drawing to explore sustainability and environmental themes. She also incorporates found objects and assemblage techniques to challenge traditional art forms.
