Katie Bedford is a Professor of Flute at the Royal College of Music (RCM) since 2008 and Co-Principal Flute with the English National Opera since 2008. She holds a BMus (Hons) and PGDip from the RCM, both with distinction. Her roles include teaching, examining, and masterclasses globally. She performs with major orchestras such as the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, and London Symphony, and collaborates internationally with ensembles like the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. She has been Principal Flute of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the European Union Youth Orchestra, working with conductors like Sir Colin Davis and Sir Simon Rattle.
