Professor Katie Barclay is a Professor in the School of Humanities at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics. She holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow and has held academic positions at institutions including Queen’s University Belfast, the University of Warwick, and Macquarie University. Her research focuses on the history of emotions, family dynamics, and gender studies, with particular expertise in British, Scottish, and Irish history from the 17th to 19th centuries.
