Kathy Luo

Kathy Luo (She/Her) is an Assistant Professor of Dance at California State University, Fresno's College of Arts and Humanities, specializing in Modern and Postmodern Contemporary Dance. She holds an MFA in Dance and a Dance Teaching Artist Certificate from Arizona State University (2022).

Her research focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration in immersive theater and site-specific dance, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. She actively participates in international conferences such as the Nordic Forum for Dance Research (Oslo), American College Dance Association (ACDA), and National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).

Kathy teaches courses in Modern Dance Technique, Pilates Mat, University Dance Theatre, and Dance Choreography, while also practicing Yoga and Pilates training for holistic movement education.
