Erin Rockwell Scheiwe is a Professor of Dance and MFA Program Director at Belhaven University, affiliated since 2008. Her expertise spans contemporary dance, choreography, and Pilates instruction. She holds an MFA from California State University, Long Beach and a BA from St. Olaf College, augmented by Pilates certifications from BASI and Balanced Body.

Research focuses on integrating technology into dance through screendance and live feed performance, as well as Pilates method adaptations for dancers. Her choreography has been featured at the Kennedy Center and nationwide festivals. She co-founded Front Porch Dance, a Mississippi-based collective promoting contemporary dance accessibility.
