Isabel Mercedes Garcia-Rose is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Dance at the University of Florida's School of Theatre and Dance. She holds a BFA in Theatre and Dance Performance from UF and an MFA in Dance from Florida State University. Her career includes 30+ years as a principal dancer with Dance Alive National Ballet, performing classical and contemporary roles such as Clara in Nutcracker and Ophelia in Hamlet.
