Kathy Hamilton is a Professor in the Department of Marketing at the University of Strathclyde and Associate Director (Challenge Pathways and Postdoctoral Fellows) at the Scottish Graduate School of Social Sciences. Her work bridges Consumer Culture Theory (CCT) and Transformative Consumer Research (TCR), focusing on consumer vulnerability, therapeutic consumption, and social impact.
- Teaching: Consumer behavior and qualitative methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Leadership: Co-chair of the Consumer Research with Impact for Society (CRIS) Special Interest Group
