Kathleen M. Rudasill is Professor and Interim Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Education. Her research examines how children's temperament interacts with classroom environments to influence academic and social outcomes. She directs the Temperament, Affect, and Behavior in Schools (TABS) Lab.
Education includes:
- PhD in Educational Psychology from University of Virginia
- M.A.Ed. in Secondary Social Studies Teaching from College of William & Mary
- B.A. in Public Policy from Washington and Lee University
Her work investigates how teacher-student dynamics moderate temperament-based challenges, identifying classroom practices that support diverse learners. Research has been federally funded and published in leading educational psychology journals.
Professor Rudasill serves on editorial boards and is active in SRCD, AERA, and APA Division 15. She previously held the Susan J. Rosowski Professorship at University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
