Chris Rudasill is an Adjunct Professor in the Art Foundation program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. He teaches foundational courses including Introduction to Drawing and Drawing Studio. Rudasill holds an MFA in Painting from University of Maryland College Park (2000) and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University (1992).
His artistic practice spans a spectrum from realism to abstraction. Rudasill has previously taught at the University of Louisville, Doane College, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has received recognition for his work including selection for a Robert Rauschenberg tribute exhibition juried by a senior Guggenheim curator.
