Sandy Zohore is an Ivorian-American artist and Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing at Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Painting + Printmaking. His interdisciplinary practice merges art production with domestic labor, exploring themes of cultural consumption, queer histories, and Ivorian-American identity through humor, economics, and art historical critique.

Zohore's research spans painting, printmaking, performance, sculpture, and installation art. His work critically engages with labor dynamics, cultural heritage, and queer narratives, employing a multifaceted lens that intersects art history with socio-economic analysis. This approach recontextualizes quotidian experiences into expansive artistic dialogues.
