Katherine McQuiston is an Associate Professor in the Department of Music at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Her research focuses on music in film, twentieth-century music, and the philosophy of music. She holds a PhD in Historical Musicology from Columbia University (2005), with additional MA and PhD degrees from the same institution.
