Katherine Crocker

Katherine Crocker (they/them or she/her; Kaw Nation of Oklahoma) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Puget Sound. They are on leave during Fall 2025.

• Research focuses on multigenerational impacts of environmental experiences in animals, spanning crickets and humans
• Investigates epigenetic mechanisms like hormone provisioning and DNA methylation
• Integrates evolutionary biology with Indigenous knowledge systems
