Katharine Brickman

Katharine Brickman is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Queen's University, specializing in Cannabis Law and Policy. She is a proud Queen's alumna and combines her legal expertise with policy experience in both public and private sectors.

Education:

• Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from Queen's Faculty of Arts and Science
• Juris Doctor (JD) from Western Law

Brickman's work focuses on the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding the cannabis industry in Canada. Her career includes significant roles in cannabis policy development and implementation.

Brickman currently serves as Legal Counsel at the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) and has previously held legal and policy positions at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO), and Aurora Cannabis.
