Her research focuses on intergenerational relationships in the letters of Q. Aurelius Symmachus. The project examines how social, cultural, and economic capital were transmitted across generations in a fourth-century Roman senatorial family, analyzing the literary performance of these relationships in Symmachus' epistolary collection. She explores narrative sequences at both individual letter and structural levels, emphasizing the letters' role as a performative product of late antique elite social practices.
