Dr. Andreas Abele is a Tenured Lecturer at the Department of Classics, University of Tübingen, specializing in Neo-Latin Drama, Late Latin Epistolography, and Narratology. He co-leads the DFG-funded project 'Reading Symmachus’ Letters Collections by the Book' alongside Katharina Blaas, focusing on the compositional principles of Q. Aurelius Symmachus' letters and their cultural implications. His habilitation project 'Quid facto usus sit, ipse videris' examines the literary structure of Symmachus' correspondence through the lens of the 'Jeweled Style' poetics.
