Katell DERRIEN

Katell DERRIEN serves as a Senior Lecturer at Arts et Métiers ParisTech since her arrival on September 27, 2018, affiliated with the Laboratoire PIMM (Laboratory of Processes and Engineering in Mechanics and Materials). She is an active member of the CoMet research team specializing in metal behavior and microstructure analysis.

Her research focuses on the mechanical properties and microstructural evolution of metallic materials, with particular emphasis on:

• Advanced metal characterization techniques
• Mechanical behavior under varying conditions
• Microstructure-property relationships
• Material deformation mechanisms

Dr. DERRIEN contributes to the laboratory's experimental capabilities in materials characterization, utilizing PIMM's specialized platforms for mechanical testing and microstructural analysis. Her work supports both fundamental research and industrial applications in materials engineering.
