Jean-Pierre CHEVALIER

Jean-Pierre CHEVALIER serves as a University Professor at Arts et Métiers Sciences et Technologies (ENSAM), affiliated with the PIMM Laboratory and leading research within the CoMet team focused on metal behavior and microstructure. His work operates under the College of Engineering's Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy.

Research interests span metallurgy, materials microstructure analysis, and mechanical behavior of metals. His experimental approach leverages ENSAM's advanced characterization platforms including mechanical testing systems, X-ray diffraction, and microscopy facilities for comprehensive materials analysis.

Professor CHEVALIER joined ENSAM on October 1, 2018, and maintains active research supervision within the CoMet team. His laboratory infrastructure includes access to the MESO 3D Shared Platform, Laser Hephaestus' Laser Shock systems, and thermal laser processing equipment through PIMM's collaborative framework.
